he Shingon Buddhist International Institute was formed to promote the understanding of Japanese Shingon Esoteric Buddhism. This Vajrayana Buddhist Sect was founded in 804 AD by Kukai (Kobo Daishi), a Japanese Buddhist Monk. The purpose of this organization is:
- To translate and publish sutras, sacred texts and the writings of Kobo Daishi.
- To sponsor workshops and Dharma sessions.
- To sponsor Tenchi-ji ,
The Heaven and Earth Temple.
- To promote or sponsor an Esoteric Buddhist School or University.
